Our first ever Open Cellar Day!

Come and taste the products from the three existing wine projects on the farm: Wein Goutte, Weinhof am Nussbaum and Sinead O’Malley Wine. There will be delicious food served, a bar to buy some drinks, the boule platz at your disposition for some friendly games, and even a few prizes to win!

INFORMATION

  • We are located at the following address: Hüttenheim 164, Willanzheim, 97348. You can also enter Wein Goutte in your GPS.

  • A wine tasting on an empty stomach is never a good idea; we will be selling food at the event. Expect something hot off the BBQ, as Emily and Christoph are big fans of cooking over fire. We will have a meat option and something vegetarian on offer.

    First come, first serve until we run out!

  • In our cellar, there will be tasting tables where you can explore the range of different wines, poured and explained by the winemakers themselves. Perfect occasion to stock up on your favorites after tasting!

    There will be wine available to taste and buy from Wein Goutte, Weinhof am Nussbaum and Sinead O’Malley Wine.

  • There will be a bar tucked inside the guesthouse where wines by the glass will be available, as well as vermouth-tonics and non-alcoholic options.

Wein Goutte

Emily and Christoph arrived at Nussbaum in 2021, with the hopes of setting down some roots and starting their own wine project. Five vintages later, they can call Franken their new home, and have taken over the farm as a whole, continuing the organic viticulture pioneered by the Hassolds.

Weinhof am Nussbaum

Linda and Erhard have established themselves as respected organic farmers since 1991. converting to organic was quite the unusual decision at the time, but they persisted in their beliefs that it was a sustainable option that made sense for their farm. More than 30 years later, they have left a longlasting mark on the landscape in our small region. Come taste some of their last vintage before it is sold out!

Sinead O’Malley Wine

Sinead grew up in the Rheinhessen, and met Emily and Christoph while working in Austria when she was still a student at Geisenheim. She joined the Wein Goutte team officially in 2023 and has started her wine projet on the side. Her artistic background shows up on her beautiful labels, and her vast experience in the wine industry brings strength to our daily operations.
