Designation of Origin: Deutscher Landwein Main

Vintage: 2025

Alcohol: 11.5%

Grape(s): 70% Johanniter, 30% Regent

Vinification: We picked both grapes on the same day, destemmed them in layers alternating colors in a big vat, let them macerate for 2 days, and then put them on the press.

Aging: 500L barrels

Bottled: 24th of August 2026

Soil type: Gipskeuper

Sulfur: All of our wines had a microdose of sulfur pre-bottling, and analyses came back under 20mg total.

A note about the name: When we made this wine in 2023, we had no idea how much this style would hit the spot with our clientele! It was a smash hit. 2024 was a difficult year with the frost, so we skipped the production of Rotling, which is why we are releasing 2025 right now. And because we absolutely love working with PiWis, we decided this wine should be made with hybrids from now on. The structure from the Johanniter marries with the exuberant fruit from the Regent; this is the NEW Newstalgia!
